Bulk packs were easy for awhile up here then they dried up again.
Now there's a recall on 22 lr Thunderbolts. They claim they were not crimped enough. Har Har, you can spin the bullet in the case on a good Thunderbolt.

So the Free States can't find .22 lr, while the PRC (Peoples Republic of Constipation) has it aplenty!
And Cabela's and the LGS have loads of primers, powder, etc.
Unfortunately, any (unregistered) magazine over 10 rounds makes me a felon, as does any (unregistered) rifle with a removeable magazine and a pistol grip.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hey Steve, just buy up all the ammo and stuff then move south. I'll sponsor you to cross the Mason Dixon. Seriously though, 22s, primers, and such are slowly starting to trickle in down here but mostly at gouge pricing. I'm still holding out with my reserve until things settle some more ( hopefully it will settle soon).

Ammunition is generally staying available here because most places are requiring a Pistol Permit to buy ammunition, very soon in CT an "Ammunition Permit" will be required for any ammunition purchase.

Ugh, an ammo permit! I agree (oh, I did it again) with Bruce- move to TX. I think El Paso is far enough away from him.
Yeah, we grew up sharing the same bedroom, Texas would probably be big enough!

We may have resided in the same bedroom for years, but as for "growing up"......speak for yourself!

I was informed today by a reliable source that in Saginaw, which is about 80 miles south east, they have built a mini-Cabelas.
Sooooo, Gander Mountain who has been there for a while and when I visited earlier in the spring had let their store slide in product and help, decided to revamp the store in response to the new kid on the block.
Sunday as part of the grand reopening had a full pallet of 22 lr. Store opens at ten and 22 lr gone by the time my friend arrived at three.
This day and age of facebook and instant communication, word get's around fast.
