I have a gold plated mod 1 38/357 ctg 4 interchangeable barrels 21/2 4 6 8 gold finish bull barrel/vent Rib in its original case trying to find out what it is worth so 8 can insure it. Any help wit( this would be great. It has neve4 been fired.

Because there is no standard for an item like that, you are going to have to arrange an "Agreed Value" policy with your insurance agent, so it can be pretty much whatever value you want it to be, but you'll be paying the premium for it too.

My guess is that is not the original finish...  IMO, someone had it plated and also re-lined the case for more bling.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

It is catch as catch can. To someone wanting a gold plated gun it is worth a lot. To a firearms collector, not so much. I thought maybe Ron had done that. Purple is an LSU color. Lol.
