Blackwater is planning to open a retail store/range in CT:

Salem, CT. Evidently there is a defunct range and gunshop there that has been plagued with some legal problems.
Interesting, to say the least. A range that understands the needs and wants of tactical shooters is non existent in this area.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That range is on CT Route 85 just south of the Salem 4 Corners (intersection of 85 & 82). The previous owner is ex-Coast Guard and not a very good people person. Add that to the legal problems and you have a shop that costs more to run than it takes in. I've done a little shopping there but never bought a firearm from that place. Just remembered the name of the place E&B sporting goods. They carried a good supply of live bait for fishing too. It would be nice to have Blackwater in there.
