Well, I have seen several 4" barrels for the 15-2 .357 Dan on E-Bay.  I always seem to get outbid.  So this time I did the "buy it now" for $225, which is a bit dear, but I've been outbid several times for amounts over $225, so I figured what the hell.

Anyway, got the barrel and it was nearly perfect; just as described.  A few holster dings on the top, but othewise the bluing was perfect and it is a beautiful 4 inch barrel. (I think the previous owner was a cop.)   I have the 6" original barrel, and one of EWK's awesome 2.5", so I now with the 4" I almost have my whole ad-hoc pistol-pak!  Now off to the range to check out the 4 incher.

Pics to follow.

Just an ordinary Dan, but I like him!

Same gun, but with Eric's totally cool EWK slabside snubbie:

Thanks!  Those are the Hogue Pau Ferro grips.  I really like them and have them both on my Dan, and my Ruger GP100:

This is the Ruger GP100 -- a very good revolver:

And to complete the series, this is my Dan with the 6" barrel!

Nice pictures!  I think now that eBay is allowing barrel assemblies we may see the prices moving higher!

I was thrilled to find this 4" barrel on E-Bay.  Here it is with one of Eric's Fiber Optic sights.  http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a331/Roger54/Gun%20Stuff/DSC_0546.jpgImage Enlarger
