here's a sit that does nickel, chrome, etc. I do not know anyone who has used them but it looks like they can do it.

Cost me $350 to have done by my local gunsmith. He completely disassembled, polished as needed, then sent out the parts being refinished. Reassembled, refitting any internal parts as needed. It came out exactly as I planned, and it's worth it to do once.
It is also as close to a safe queen as I have. I do shoot it, but not a lot. I have other 15-2's that I shoot regularly, I would not do this with a regular shooter. I can't stand the thought of a nick, ding, or scratch. Also, supposedly ammonia based cleaning products are not good for this finish.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
