I went to the brookings, SD gun show yesterday, there was no dan wesson to be found anywhere, no grips, no barrels no nothing, yet on local social sites there's plenty of people showing off their dan wessons, I walked up to the colt snake table and was amazed to see the price of them $4000 anaconda, wow, I still wonder why they command such a high price? I paid $400 something for my DW44, no its not pretty, been used hard and still use it hard, but that's why I own firearms for, I don't think if I could afford to pay that much for a handgun I would bring myself to shoot it, that brings up another point, why own it? I realize people do collect rare and exotic things, I don't however find an anaconda as rare or exotic, an un fired DW pistol pac would be considered somewhat rare, this I can see as being collectible, used and worn pythons were in the $2000 range, a comparable dan would be $300-$400, I did see an AGS licensed dan wesson airsoft revolver for $160, hopefully the sioux falls gun show will bring out the dans?

Yeah, I am also rather done with the local, regularly recurring gun shows here in S.E. PA. The same "old" old stuff and nothing in which I can imagine anyone I know would be interested. No offense to you genuine "collectors", but I rather like to shoot my collectable guns also. And, I guess the prices these days are whatever they are: limited supply -- unlimited price. Oh well, at least I can exprees myself hear and there.

Jaggman,

My family attended the gun show in Lebanon PA yesterday.  there were two DW's there.  An overpriced 15-2VH8, nice condition, but very common.  There was also a model 32 with a non-vented 8" & 4" barrel.  $1300.00 was going to take it home.  Don't know if it sold or not...
