This isn't exactly DW specific, but... every few weeks I advance search leaving the keyword blank, catagory: modern firearms, condition: used or new old stock, and limit the search to the state I live in.  I have found misspelled and poorly listed items that would never be caught by a search, including the occasional DW.  If I find something I want I ask the seller if he/she would consider a FTF deal if I win the auction.  Since no one else ever finds the listing the bid rarely gets too high and if they agree to a FTF transaction then I pay no FFL fees or shipping, which is perfectly legal in my state.  

It's kind of like fishing for guns, but I've gotten some great deals that way, and there is a certain sense of adventure.  The danger is that you often find things that you never knew you absolutely needed.
