Ive been looking at websites lately and wonder if http://www.gunsamerica.com is a reliable place to buy from. Anyone buy from them before? What was your experience?

I have bought from that site at least five times and had nothing but pleasant experiences with the sellers.

I've only bought one gun off of GA and it was a good experience.  My only advice would be if you find something you want to call in addition to submitting your interest via email.

Good Luck!

One thing to keep in mind is that GunsAmerica is a Classified listing site, not an auction site and it does not follow the same rules as most auction sites.  The listing is a classified ad and the seller is not bound to honor your "offer".  There is no "contract", implied or otherwise, when you submit an "offer" to purchase an item.  Just keep in mind that just because you click the "Buy It" button it doesn't mean you have purchased the item.  You are merely submitting an OFFER to buy the item.  Conversely, when you click "Buy It" on an auction site, you've bought the item.  Just be aware of those differences, make contact with the seller, ask questions, and know your values and you should be ok.

I've bought two guns from GA, and have had good luck with both transactions.

I've bought items there before, but I'm a GB fan, so I usually stich with their auctions.

I've used it a couple of times with good success. In some ways it's nice, in that you don't have to go through the bidding process. (assuming someone else hasn't beat you to the punch) Surprised I've used Gunbroker more times though, also with good success.

I have used both to buy and sell without any problems.

As mentioned, I like to phone sellers to clarify things and seal the deal.

I have bought a couple guns there with no problems. I've found that many times, guns listed for sale there have already been sold, sometimes weeks prior, and the listing has not been pulled.
