If you have original boxes, paperwork, barrel changing tool and shim worth about 100.00 more than just the value of the gun. The gun itself is worth 6-700. The model numbers are 744-6VH, the seven designates stainless and the 6VH is for six inch heavy shroud.

Awesome appreciate the info. I just saw they were made in monson which I knew must of been old then. Serials are all within a few numbers of each other too. Doesn’t look like they got shot at all either which is nice. I do have barrel changing tool and I do know there is 2 extra barrels I just have to go to family’s house to grab those. Not sure the length either.

Very nice guns!
? on the spare "barrels". If your shrouds are ported, then the barrels may be the ported barrels in same length as the shrouds. The one with wood grip looks ported in photo. Mine came with both barrels, ported and non-ported.
Not meaning to be insensitive, but I'd be over there quick to get those barrels before they become not available. "What's this short hunk of pipe for?"
Now get out there and shoot those things! I had my DW44 on the range yesterday shooting some handloads. Lots of fun!
(Edit to add: Hand-me-down guns are a treasure to me.)

Very nice pair your acquired. If you have all the goodies, box, tool, papers etc, they are probably worth in the 1000 to 1200 dollar range depending on your area of the country.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

If a man designed it, and a man built it, then a man can fix it.
