I hope everyone here at the DWF will have a happy Holidays Season and that you will remember who you are. No drinking and driving and no yelling at the inlaws and outlaws. It's the spirit of giving and remembering those who gave all. Thank the Lord for all the blessing of another year of life and breath. Pray for another year of peace and joy. Keep your powder dry and your guns pointed in a safe direction. Always keep your eye peeled on that 10 spot. Here are a couple of thoughts to live by:
Good friends are hard to find,
Harder to leave,
And impossible to forget.
Don't let the past hold you back,
You're missing the good stuff.
A best friend is like a four leaf clover,
Hard to find and lucky to have.
Good friends are like stars….
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year guys!
Actually this picture makes a decent screen saver. Huh!

Yes! Yes it does! Thanks for the screen saver present Gary, that looks really cool!
I'd like to join in with wishing all my brothers a Merry Christmas. I hope this is a good one for all. So far, this is turning out to be the best one I've had in the last four years...I hope I'm not jinxing it.
I wish you all a fantastic New Year too, may it be a prosperous one for us all.

My best friend is retired Army Special Forces with many bad memories of war and other things. He is a beautiful man (please don't laugh) who made many sacrifices for our country. He is an expert on the use of many weapons, but until recently has not had one in his hands for nearly 20 years. I got him out to the range a couple of months ago and we had a blast. Since I have started to shed some of my collection through gifts to those with whom I am close, Louis will be pleasing surprised by his new (old) pistol pack and the M14 (his weapon of choice in VN) Santa is leaving for him under the tree.
My 12 years of military service thought me one thing I will never forget. There is no brother closer than the one in who's hands you place your life.
God bless you all. Happy Birthday, Jesus.

Merry Christmas to all my brothers here. I pray that you will enjoy the season. Leshia and I are headed to Louisville this week and I'm sure not looking forward to the drive, but in order to get her Mom's cooking; it'll be worth it!
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
