Hi guys!
Decided to crawl out of my cave to say hello and see what's new with everyone. I haven't logged in for awhile but have lurked from time to time.
Life is still a bit rough, but much much improved over the last few months. I haven't even been to the doctor since December- that was getting old.... and really expensive. While the ride hasn't been fun, I had plenty of time to load 16lbs of powder and restock the supermag ammo supply. I am just about ready to find out how much I can shoot in one trip to the range before my arms give out. I very much look forward to that day.
I , once again, appreciate all the assistance and concern over my situation for the last 7-8 months from all you great guys here. Your assistance got me through the worst times I have yet to experience in this lifetime. I hope to be able to provide the support and assistance to those in need as I was helped through my bad times. Life is still far from perfect presently, but improves every day. Hopefully, my wife will find employment in the near future and allow me some extra breathing room. At least I only sold the one Dan Wesson and have managed to avoid selling any other assets to stay alive- this is a good thing.
Hopefully, I can become, once again, a contributing member to these forums. Look forward to getting back online and staying active on the DWF- I just haven't been good company and didn't want to spread the negativity. I feel much better now. Thanks again.
Have a great weekend guys.

Hi Mike.... and thanks.
Let me be the first to say that constant trips to the doctor, and a bleeding ulcer, is not having a good time. The doctor told me I needed to find a way to decompress, so I spent the last couple months loading ammo. It was certainly therapeutic for me compared to the chaos of life last year. Its about time to get some trigger time again as I find I always seem to de-stress with such activities. Things are definitely starting to head in the right direction again.
I'm already on a roll- 3 posts today. I don't think I posted 3 times in the last 9 months.

Glad to see ya back, and am glad things are improving for you.
Depending on how much lurking you've been doing, I imagine you have a whole LOT of reading to catch up on.
Thank you Charger.
I definitely have A LOT of ground to cover. I think there has been at least 1-2 format changes since I went MIA.
You know, I think your post count has doubled since I was active. LOL.

SMF- its good to be back.
I still haven't forgot about that offer I made you months ago.
Doc says inhaling potentially toxic wood dust is probably not a fantastic idea at the present time. Now I just need to figure out how to add ventilation to the wood shop on the cheap. BTW, I appreciate the water heater.... your assistance helped make that possible.
Thanks buddy.
As far as running up my post count, I got a long way to go at this point. Maybe I can think of something to say after all this time off. Unfortunately, I am not blessed with Chargers ability to talk. LOL

Howdy Lawrence.
Yep- back from the dead. Death probably would have been an improvement at my worst, but it was just a little too permanent. Things always improve eventually, and having friends like you guys helped me keep sight of that through the really bad times.
Glad to be back amongst the living, and look forward to being much more involved with this forum.

Speaking of MIA, has anybody seen or heard from Dusty Trail? We talked a few months back and he said he would be visiting the forum more, but it looks as if his post count hasn't moved since then.
I guess I need to roust him out of his hole- bribe him with all the SuperMag ammo he can shoot maybe??

Ya know, it's the oddest thing...I went to bed one night with it showing about 1100 posts & the next morning it was above 3K. No idea what happened.
Haven't heard from Dusty, I wish he'd pop back in. He's good people.

I've been lurking- I don't believe that for a second.
I will see if I can't hook up with Dusty in the next week or 2 to participate in the soon to be Austin shoot-fest.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

HI Chris! as with most people on the forum we never get to know other than the posting and fellowship of I've missed your input along with others like dusty and Dr. mike hope you have a positive turn around. There are bad years and they sometimes can't do anything but get better which sounds like you just had one, hope everything gets better from here on for you. Dayton

Thanks again for welcoming me back guys- I didn't realize how much I missed the forums until I was able to clear my head and improve my health. Glad to see the familiar faces and look forward to getting to know some of the new members.
As a lifestyle change from the past 7 months or so, I decided to take a pile of ammo to the range yesterday... I didn't even make a dent in it. I should have probably started with the smaller guns such as the 357 and 45, but my addiction to the Supermags became very apparent. The 357SM has always been pretty easy to shoot for me, even though my lack of trigger control was obvious.
That 7445 on the other hand, walloped me pretty good. I love that gun, but damn, I need to shoot that brute every week or 2 or I completely lose my ability to shoot it with any accuracy whatsoever. This is not a bad thing though as it will require me to get to the range weekly, which definitely helps control the stress levels.
Speaking of 445 Supermags, I am pretty low on ammo for it and am having difficulty finding any brass. I don't shoot hundreds of rounds in a sitting through it, but I always like to have at least a couple hundred rounds on hand for any firearm I own. I have plenty of bullets, primers, and powder, but brass is very limited. When I could find brass, I didn't dare purchase it because of my finances. My finances are still weak, but I could afford to buy a couple hundred pieces, if I can find it. I've scoured the internet searching all the usual places with no luck. I especially like the entry on Starlines sight for this brass:
"Backordered expected availability: NEXT RUN WHEN SUFFICIENT BACKORDER ACHEIVED" .
What the heck does that mean?
Anyone know where I could pick up a couple hundred pieces of 445 brass?
