Very interesting and informative. In CT, Open Carry is considered to be legal, once you have a "State Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers". No mention of "Concealed". Through the actions of some very assertive folks here in CT, the police departments are becoming progressively better educated, and the Connecticut Citizens Defense League has played a big role in that.

All that being said, I would not be comfortable open carrying, but I support Open Carry simply because it reduces the issue of inadvertent display or "printing" while concealed carrying.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
