Here is one on ebay ($59.98 buy it now):
Another one not as nice $44.95:
Another not as nice one $39.99:
Here is a black one (High Standard) that is nice ($32.00):
Just a quick ebay search. I didn't post anything that was over $60. There are more for more money.
The first 3 look like they are an early plastic grip called Powerwood. Not very collectable and cannot be refinished. The last is a HS wood grip that is very nice but don't seem to sell for as much as DW grips. I wouldn't put DW medallions on a HS grip. Stock grips are more valuable. Just my preference.

The Grip itself looks identical to me...

Funny I found an older style HS grip with the curved medallion and then the small carry grip but the medallion on it looks like one on the aftermarket HS grip! Still looking for HS Mark lll barrels in 3 & 5 or how ever long they are I almost bought a hole gun to get one of the barrels but then what do I do with a crummy HS frame? One will show up some day on ebay!

That is a Barrel I too could Enjoy...and if ya end up with a "crummy HS Frame" LMK please...I love Mine!!!
On the medallions...are we to assume that the "flat"medallion is Not correct??
That carry, or Duty grip is like mine but mine is sans medallion!! The stock grip is Identical to mine..
The shape of the DW target grip changed over the years. The HS target grip was never produced except in the mid 70s. Dan Wesson sold their remaining porkchop models to High Standard when the dash twos were made in late 1974. The early DW target grips had a wide base to force the hand up for better control. In the late 70s and 80s the grips got narrower at the base. The HS grip seems a bit shorter than a DW target grip.

My mother's father was from Hungary. He was a chemical, mechanical and civil engineer. One of the World's Foremost aniline dye experts. He was reputed to have a photographic memory. When he was 85 years old my wife and I were driving him back to NJ from our home in Florida. When we were passing through a little town along the Blueridge Parkway, he said "Ronnie Darlink, there are 4273 people that live in this town." I said, " Grampy, how can you know that." He said, "Ronnie Darlink, I do not know that but if you bushit, bushit exactly and people will believe you."
True story. If I meet someone I forget their name in seconds. If I am told something it goes in one ear and out the other. I am too cheap to pay attention. But if I read something it seems to stick forever, almost. Member Hugelk has a phenomenol memory.

I don't know for sure, but I believe the curved metal medallions are early ones. The flat plastic ones likely came along a bit later, and are much more common. All four of mine have the plastic medallions, and look very original to the grips.

Oh Yes...I do Forget the time frame Matters!
I guess I'm back to ...Are the HS grips more, or less, common/desirable? As the Shape of the HS grip, seems the same as the DW Pork Chop Grip...to My Eye.

Here is a fun fact. So the last gun I think High Standard made before bankruptcy was the Crusader. Remember they never made a large frame gun they bought the pork chops in the early 70's from Dan Wesson. The Crusaders were made late 1970's to early 80's and they copied Dan Wesson almost exactly. One piece grip with one screw thru the bottom just like Dan Wessons though the inner workings were much different. Almost all gears were used! anyway I'm lucky to have a 8 inch pair of the Crusaders matching serial number #34 one 44 magnum one 45 Colt. One had the Zebra grip but I swapped out my other grip so both guns have Zebra's! Notice they did put the rounded medallion on the Crusader Zebra's. I also noticed most all the automatics had no medallions either did the Sentinels but the cowboy guns did! Check out the inner working of the Crusader! PS I still have a pair of 5 inch Crusaders for sale $2200 shipped!

Far as I can Tell...all sentinels, had medallions on the grips...Examples abound..or is there a Sentinel that is Not a Sentinel "mark"?

Your talking about Dan Wesson Sentinels. I'm grouping all Sentinels in there. Yes the Dan Wesson Sentinels did have them but all the others did not. I forget about the Dan Wesson Sentinels I don't really count them as High Standards since they were not. THe older Sentinels had the logo stamped right into the aluminum (frames were made of this since only .22LR were made) Then later they did switch to steel since they added 22 magnum into the line-up! The left side in the white styro boxes and the later steel frame (22LR/22MAG) They started making these in 1971 at the same time they were offering the Dan Wesson pork chops. The Dan guns were Mark ll & Mark lll the high standards were Mark l (22LR) and Mark lV (22 mag) All the others were the older pre steel guns (though the barrel and cylinder were steel).
