did they make many... I have never seen one for sale. I have one and am wondering its value. Also which guns are worth more, guns made in Monson, Palmer, or Norwich.
I remember shooting silhoutte with Seth who I think actually ran the company even at his young age for a while..( might be wrong, might have been he just worked there) . There used to be a silhoutte match in Monson often.... I shot at Blue trail in CT along with a few other places in the northeast. Seems they dont have any shoots around here that i know of at all any more.
thanks

Value is around 500.00 - 600.00 you see them once in a while on Gunbroker.
A very nice blued one came up for sale here on the Forum a couple of years ago, I didn't need it but nobody here wanted it so I picked up for 500.00 box and all.
These are fun plinking guns!
Monson, Palmer, Norwich is all the same to me, condition is what matters most.
I have Dan's from all 3 factories.

this gun is a tack driver.... seems they only made them at one facility, is that right?
after reading some of the dan wesson history here on another thread, i must have been mistaken about shooting with Seth, it might have been his son Eric, unless he also had a son named Seth as well. I think it was Eric that ran some IHMSA matches in mass, probbaly was in Monson. I think he brought some parts one match.

The DW .22 Silhouette gun was made in both the Monson & Palmer plants, there may have been some made in Norwich, although I have yet to see one.
Yes, they are relatively rare, but not as rare as a few other DW models. If I were in your shoes, it would be truly cherished & I wouldn't let it go for anything. Plus, I would post some for the rest of us poor schmucks who seem to be afflicted with the dreaded to over.
But that's just me.
