Was at Walmart grabbing some meds for my daughter and figured I'd check out the ammo section just in case...Glad I did, it was like striking gold!

Grabbed the last box of 45 and a couple of .22s. There were still some .22s left for the next guy. Probably gone by now but yay! Time for some shooting

It's good to hear that not everywhere is like here. After the 08 election bulk 22 ammo disappeared from most retail shelves due to hoarding. It was 2010 before I saw a brick of 22's on the shelf and then they didn't last very long. After the CT shooting virtually all ammo except shotgun shells and some of the more obscure rifle rounds have disappeared. I hear that they come in, but rarely make it past the store room, or if they do make it to the counter the retired crowd ( I don't blame them) are waiting to scarf them up as they have figured out the delivery schedules. I don't expect to see any normal amounts of ammo on the shelves for years around here. I have a fair supply of components to load and a decent supply of calibers I don't load. But I am reluctant to use them as to the uncertain future.
Went to a gun show a week or so back and they had bricks of 22's for $100.00. I passed.

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.
