Here she is as purchased–no polishing yet!  The fabric is really bright, the pic doesn't do it justice.  SHOOT

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

DroolDrool Just messed up another keyboard there shootist.  That is one outstanding pack there, I did say GTDW already didn't I ?  poke  Think there was a saying that can describe your deal "it just doesn't get any better than this".    Thanks for sharing with us.  I don't think we have a stainless VH kit on the banner yet, this may just be the one.

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

Nice the one on AA is currently well over $1,000.  You did fabulous and dont be upset you didnt offer cheaper, it is important ethically not to skin people to the bone but to be fair.

I agree wholeheartedly.

The best deals are the ones that feel good (if not great) for both parties involved. That may be why I tend to pay a little more for some stuff now & then...I feel that I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to obtain something semi-rare, and I feel good knowing that I didn't fleece the seller in the process.

I think I sleep better that way.Wink

That's funny you guys say that... my wife and I had the exact conversation after I made the deal.  She asked how I came up with $850...told her I honestly felt that was the lowest I could offer and not feel bad about the deal.

You see? If there's three of us in this thread so far that feel that way (and I know there's more), there must be hope for mankind after all.rofl

Yup we dont want people to rip us off selling, we need to respect the half of the equation.  Sure everyone likes a GTDW now and then.

For example, a guy on another board I participate on picked up a complete unfired blued pistol pack for $200 in a small town from an older resident. I would have felt guilty at that price.  Now maybe $600 to $800 would have been fair to all but.........

Maybe more people should read this thread and learn that ethics and character are still alive here on the Forum.  I've had the pleasure of PMing / talking with at least 2 members who stopped bidding on an auction when they learned I was the high bidder even when I said go ahead as I wasn't that set on it. I even revealed my max price. I would and did do the same in the past. I'm proud to be associated with this crazy bunch! occasion
