Hello Group
I recently picked up a 15-2 Pistol Pac with 2 1/2, 4 and 6 inch barrels. It came in a small brown suitcase with barrel tool and feeler gauge. The gun and barrels in a heavy zip lock bag. I bought it from the original buyer and it had been packed away for a while.
One of the barrels had minor rust on the threads and the gun had signs that it hadn't been oiled in a while so I broke bad and decided to clean it all. The barrels were easy enough, but the gun was a different story. After taking the side plate off I saw real quick why Dan Wessons are such smooth shooters. The trigger and cylinder operations are one of the most complex pistol mechanisms that I have ever seen. I've taking several pistols apart and never seen one that has a geared double action pull. I completely disassembled the pistol, cleaned and oiled if well and put it back up. Since it's a "Pac" that has been shot very little I will save this one. I have a couple of others that I will wear out at the range....
