New year, and that means new calendar pics!!
This is the best of four. It didn't turn out exactly 100% of what I was hoping for, but it may still useable for one of the cold calendar months.

Nice winter scene. We have been keeping snow around here too lately and I thought about a wintry pic as well. I'll have to wait for the right set up to take place. I see Lil Dan is loaded and ready for work!

I think the 2011 calendar will be better than the 2010 if that is possible! Nice photo!

Yep, Lil' Dan is pulling guard duty for a while. Helps him earn his keep.
One of the FB brothers will relieve him on the next shift.

I was hoping to get more detail visible on the grip. This one's sorta dark, but it's the best I could coax out of my camera. One day I'll get a better camera.
Here's another shot I took when I readjusted the lighting, to fix the dark grip problem. Only this time, the stainless on the gun is too light.
The camera has a difficult time trying to combine light & dark subjects like this.
My camera performs best usually, with full-on sun. Anything else, it just doesn't like…but now & then I get lucky with shade shots.
Here's the last two I took. I think these turned out ok overall, but that first one I like best out of the bunch.

I agree with SMF that last one is very good! Shows a lot of Lil' Dan's features plus the background is excellent! Send me some high resolution versions for the banner.

I really hope the demand/desire will allow for a couple of specialized calendars (we might even get a 1911 one this year?)

Maybe a Supermag only calender, or a specialized calender of our limited quantity guns (32 mag, 709, D-11, 414, etc).... 🙂

I'd buy one of each. BTW-I don't actually USE my calendar, it's a Collectors item now
