Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie here and as I peruse the pages I see the effects of Photobucket's "hostage taking" of the images people have stored there for "3rd party posting". Those THIEVES wanted a user to pay $400/year to be able to store/share via 3rd party posting. The HELL you say?
OK, here's the way to get around the "ransom".
1. Open an account with imgbb. It's FREE! They have 3rd party posting.
2.Create a folder. Call it "Photobucket image download". If you have multiple albums create sub folders inside the "main"
3.Go to PB. Copy your images and paste them to your new folder. It's good if you create a desktop shortcut to go there. Speeds the process of recovery.
4.Then go to your imgbb account and just create albums and upload your images from your new folder.
5. You can after you have "recovered" all your images? Delete them on PB. Then if you are of a mind send PB a message "KMA"!
