Okay guys, I'm sure I'm reading between the lines here but I'm being cautiously optimistic. Keith at DW started this post over on the 1911 Forum.
http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=250578
In the past Keith has always replied that there were no plans to make revolvers and he didn't say that this time.
This is purely speculation but that would sure make for some great news around the holidays!
Read this and let me know your thoughts.

If we get Keith to come on here, let's not gangbang him, we scared poor Seth Jr for life, I think.
It took to the 25th post on that Forum for the "R" word to come up.
I would love to see it, but remember that DW is now very firmly into the $1200 1911 market. I can see them trying to capture the higher end specialty revolver market in unique calibers.
At any rate, he noted that after the Holiday means after Thanksgiving
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I think so too, but am still hoping for the best.
Steve's right, when Seth Jr. came in here, we all dog-piled on him like a pack of "info starved freaks"! Oh wait, we sort of are aren't we? Anyway, let's try to be a tad more subtle this time around if Keith decides to poke his head in.

DW's prices are going up HUGE after the 1st of the year on all their 1911's ... Anyone that has a CBOB in 10mm it will be worth lots as they are dropping that line -
I will not be able to afford a DW 1911 after the 1st of the year funny cause that was made them so attractive, their price point for what you got. Now they have joined the ranks of "The most amount of money, club" - what a shame-

I am still shocked over the $2200 price on this Valor model

Collectors is generally high, but usually price new firearms at Mfg. suggested list.

Local dealers are selling them pretty much at list. Unfortunately, if the are pricing like this on 1911's, the price point on new revolvers might be equally high. DW 1911's are fine pistols, but no longer in the pricing Sweet Spot they used to be.
