Found a DW model 15 with a 4" and 6" barrel.

looks to be in pretty decent shape.

the guy is asking $800, but i might be able to get it for a little less than that.

interested to hear what the experts think about that price, before I meet the owner.

I have not actually seen the gun yet, just pictures.  the blue looks like it is in good shape, not something that looks like it has been carried a lot.

anyone have any opinions?

If it is a 15-2 it is a deal. If it is a porkchop 15 try talking him down a little.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Ended up paying $775.  Seems to be in very good shape.  Hope to shoot it later today.rn

Judging from the prices I've seen in the past year you did well considering you got two barrels. I'd check the B/C gap. My first DW revolver cylinder was binding on the barrel when I went to look at it. Any issues that come up are usually pretty easy to resolve on these revolvers since they're easy to work on without having to hire a gunsmith. Good luck and happy shooting!

You did fine on the price. Nice original condition DW. Looks to be an earlier 15-2. If you click on the FAQ in the home page, and click on ‘when was my DW made’ you’ll be able to determine when it was made. Have a great day at the range!!
