Just notice, excuse if this old news, Ebay must have come to it's senses

and lifted it's restrictions on gun parts. Here is a new update list of allowed

firearms parts allowed on Ebay:

  • En bloc clips
  • Barrels
  • Bolts
  • Choke tubes
  • Cylinders
  • Firing pins
  • Hammers
  • Magazines with a capacity to accept 10 rounds or less (high-capacity magazines that can accept more than 10 rounds are not allowed)
  • Slides
  • Trigger assemblies

Have not found eveidence of it yet but I'm guessing Paypay has also

changed it's policies on these items .

I've been an active ebay member since ebay started--

Way back when they first started, it was awesome...  Limited market and I was buying gun parts for next to nothing due to no competition...  Now, I'm bidding against half the planet....

I actually built a few guns completely from ebay--minus the frames which I got on GB.  I built a complete Hi-Standard sport king, and I also was able to build a complete springfield 22 rifle from ebay parts.

Now--ebay is a sellers market for me.  I buy very few items anymore.

It's definitely a seller's market right now on the previosly restricted items.

Prices are very high on the auction block.

It's nice they finally reversed that policy.  I guess that means I can stop placing bets on when this listing gets pulled.

I must admit, I didn't think I'd see this day. Good for them, it's about time someone over there came to their senses.

This explains all of the barrels and shrouds I saw there earlier this week.

I was actually thinking of bidding on one, but was worried E-bay would kill the auction.

I have always thought that PayPal was for more interested in acquiring our fanatical data than serving there clients.   R S

That sounds like it's still inline with what Ebay's current gun policy probably is. It doesn't look like you can't pay for a DW barrel through Paypal, for example, but blatantly paying for a gun frame would be a no-no.

I'm still pinching myself over this whole deal...seeing BA's on eGouge is almost surreal.wow

That's right ! I remember reading in the EBay forums shortly after the

restrictions came down that Ebay was losing 4000 sales a day because

of their decision and the average sale between high and low was $40,

now that equals some real pocket change...don't care how big you are.
