James Yeager of "Tactical Response" has posted a video in which he is calling for all "Patriots" to arm themselves against the government. I have always admired his knowledge and ballsy attitude

about combat hand gunning. But he has stated that he is ready to start shooting people. He is asking everyone to "Pack your bags and clean your rifles". It has been stated that his CCW has been revoked because of this. I'm afraid that his lack of maturity and his passion has got the better of him. I have found him to be quiet funny and informative when he is not worked up. But how does he or anyone in this country think that they can fight the United States Military? He is calling for a Civil War. He has gone about fighting this the wrong way. But now he has done it. I wish him well.

I don't spend much time on the computer (other than looking at Dan Wessons and Jeeps), and I don't rarely watch TV either, so I have never heard of James Yeager. But it is my personal opinion that at this point in time, gun owners like him are very counter productive and paint all us gun owners as brash fanatical zealots who are a danger to everyone. They are just giving the Liberals more leverage to use.

Right now gun owners need to work on defining ourselves for what we are, lawabiding everyday citizens who really are the backbone of the United States of America. This is a difficult task that will not be accomplished in a short time and no, I don't have the answers of how to win the struggle we are in for our rights.

I do not understand what anybody is thinking, who actually talks of armed insurrection against the government. It is my understanding that the USA has a protector called the US Armed Forces, and I am pretty sure they are equipped with artillery and armored infantry besides also being the greatest military in the world.

If you or your family or home is being threatened, call me and I will come to your aid with all the firepower I can muster. But if anybody wants to get into armed conflict with the US Government I'll sit that one out.

Well said Lonwolf.

I never heard of this guy either, I had to look him up, whoa! He seriously needs some medication! This is the kind of irresponsible and ignorant rhetoric that will help the antis get their way. These are the nutbags that responsible gun owners need to distance themselves from.

He is a "Chest Beater" like Alex Jones" and such. Jumping up and down all excited screaming that Sandy Hook and the Colorado movie theater shooting was a hoax or prompted by the Government

to get our guns. That Obama should be impeached and such. Such as Ted Nugent daring the authorities to "Come and get them". And get them they will if ordered to do so.

I have continued to be insulted by a liberal mainstream media that continues to prey on the tragedy that these families must endure. I am likewise disgusted with those who see an active conspiracy to create the issue by allowing or fostering this crime.

The gun grabbers jumped WAY too quick and with an incredible array of knee jerk reaction and pre programmed legislation.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well, his new found attention brought out the the fact he has been running a

Tactical and defence training school named Tactical Response and he didn't

even have an instructor's licence. On his personal website, Yeager's Corner
Yeager says he's a "TN Department Of Safety Certified Firearms Instructor."

Dalya Qualls, a spokesperson for the Department of Safety and Homeland Security

" "I have confirmed with our Handgun Unit that Mr. Yeager is not a Department of
Safety and Homeland Security certified handgun instructor and Tactical Response
is not a department certified school,"

I've never heard of him & I don't think I need to BUT, your remark about him having his CCW license revoked due to something he said is very reckless, at the least. It happened or didn't & if it did you need to provide data to prove it. If it didn't then you're no different than him. You're also spreading inflammatory unsubstantiated info. In this country we've got a little thing called "Freedom of speech", does it ring a bell?

There are two links in Post #6 that are sources for this information. Members may visit those links for themselves to make their own assessment of their accuracy.

It is correct that the links should have been in the OP.

No matter my opinion of Yeager, he does have some good infomation and tactics,

I just don't respond well to his delivery of message.

What I see as the real problem here and I believe it to be a really big problem,

is the fact that the man, in the heat of the moment, in bad judgement said the

wrong thing. He made a public apology and pulled his YouTube statement with

in 24 hours (the videos on YouTube now are copies, not the original)

still he had his CCW pulled. Hopefully we see his CCW reinstated.

This is really not about Yeager, It's about his right, your right. This should not

even be an issue, you should not have to ask any man or government permission

(permit)to carry a gun. But yet this is where we are at.
