Well Jim, no I haven't made any grips from Corian. I did do a lot of work in Corian back in my former life as a cabinet maker and felt Corian was too brittle to be a good grip material, sure it will make one and look awesome but I would fear it might shatter if dropped or similar insult. Also I don't remember Corian coming thicker than 3/4 so that would mean a seam down the middle of the grip. That being said, several other grip makers do use Corian but they all have two piece grips like Ruger's and Smith's and such.  The product we used to build the grips for snake-eye is very similar to Corian.

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

You were a cabinet guy, small world I was too in Nebraska and for a while in Santa Barbara. Sold all my stuff except my Bandsaw.

You are right I needed to glue 2 pcs of 3/4 to make a thick enough block, put a strip of black knife handle liner material in between for contrast.

I didn't have any issues with shattering or cracking even in the cold temps during NE. hunting seasons.

Maybe Micarta would be a better choice.

Clean on my end. I have been scoping out some grips there and finding I must be a traditionalist.

Wouldn't mind a nice traditional grip with some DW logos embedded.

If you supply the DW medallions, he will make your grips. Unfortunately, to make that happen, you need to yank the DW medallions out of a grip you already own.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
