First off I have an old model 15 pork chop that I put a pair of the hogue  57000 black rubber grips on. I like the feel and look with the snub barrel. I just picked up a 22vh with a 6" barrel and factory grips. I like the dark wood look, but they feel super unconvertible. I am not sure I want the same black rubber grips though. I really like the looks of the hogue 57900 and the 57920. (links below) But I am not sure how they will feel. I know it is wood vs rubber, but are the finger grooves cut the same as the rubber one? I like the way it fits my hand.  I am also open to another grip brand, just want a similar look to the linked ones. thanks

Mine look like the are the h- Pachmayr target grips. I like the ones that are more fitted to your hand

I think the Hogue finger-groove grips, wood and rubber, are very comfortable and contribute to non-slip shooting. Much better than the Pachmeyer gripper or presentation grips. I use a Hogue rubber grip on my 715 to shoot steel matches nearly every weekend.

I just ordered the 57900 grips. I’ll see how I like them. Says it will be 30 days before I get them…. Guess they are a custom grip. Paid $80 after shipping.
