I don't know if this is the correct place for this buuuuttttt ...... can Connecticut residents purchase magazines mail order these days? I saw a hint of this on another forum and knowing Steve CT is pretty much up on that sort of thing I thought I'd ask.

Thanks, Pecos

Not over 10 rounds, the ones over 10 rounds needed to be "declared" to CT Public Safety by 12/31/13, along with "assault weapons", and they cannot be purchased in CT except by active duty military or LEO's

I am compliant with state regulation for one "assault rifle", 10 magazines for the aforementioned "assault rifle", and 5 14 round magazines for a 9 mm S&W Model 59.

If anything happens to me the rifle and all magazines over 10 rounds that are not legally sent out of state must be surrendered, and presumably destroyed.

But a prison guard (like my drunken, deadbeat Dad, off the wall neighbor) can purchase and possess whatever he wants

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks Steve. I saw on another forum that a member tried to order some mags from Gunparts Corp. but they refused to send them because of the law. I guess they're just playing it safe.

Actually, most sellers are playing it "over safe".

CT laws have made many providers shut down sales to anyone in Connecticut for anything shooting related
