Like (probably) most of us, I have several knives. What I have wanted for a couple of years is ONE knife that I can have 3-4 of, so that every time I grab a knife, it's the same.
I have:
SOG Flash (maybe 2 of them), bigger than I want to always have with me
S&W Tactical that may possibly be an Auto, I can neither confirm nor deny. Very nice, but heavy
Kershaw "something" no longer made but a nice, pocketable size, a little small
As I'm cruising the LGS today, I spot a bunch of:

I really like the Kershaw "flipper", size is a perfect compromise for me, I can flip the clip to the end to where I want it to be, serrated tanto blade, a long enough handle to hold securely.
$19.99? I bought one to play with for a day or two, but, I'm headed back tomorrow for a couple more, I think
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I edc this one:

I got it in 2008 for about 29 bucks. Opens faster than an auto and is still sharp.
This is my fixed blade, older BlackJack 7

Steve, I have one the same but a little bigger (1985 model), 3 1/2 inches. I really like it, problem is SC has no state law but our county restricts blade length to 3 inches or less.

Jim,
Always been a huge fan of Blackjack knives. I first tried to buy one just after they went bankrupt and couldn't find one then.
I bought one a few years back, but is a newer model and I'm not sure it is made with the same quality. Looks like it is though.

I bought it because it resembled the Randall knife (which I could in no way afford ) and now it just sits in my drawer waiting go for a spin.
I would like the ivory micarta handle but don't know where I could buy one. I may have to get out the grinders and make one, been a long time since I made knife handles and pistol grips but I have more time on my hands these days so it might happen.
