Good Afternoon All,
I wanted to take this opportunity for us to remember those that have given so much for us to live the lives we live. I found this pray below that I think is relievant for the times we are living in and specifically this Memorial Day.
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, we think of how they have followed in the footsteps of your son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Please hold our service men and women in your strong arms. Cover them with your sheltering grace and presence as they stand in the gap for our protection.
We also remember the families of our troops, and ask for your unique blessings to fill their homes and your peace, provision and strength to fill their lives.
May the members of our armed forces be filled with courage to face each day and may they trust in the Lord's mighty power to accomplish each task. Let our military brothers and sisters feel our love and support.
In the name of Jesus. Amen.

I too ask the Lord to bless and be with our military forces... but remember..
God HATES.. infanticide.. and that is what we do in this country.. we kill our children..
we offer them up on the alter of Satan. and we are doing it about 4000 times a day..
He WILL NOT bless us if we don't become obedient to his will.. I'm sure a lot of us can see him withdrawing his had of blessings from our once mighty nation..
"....if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
Our military has in ages past fought to preserve a way of life here in this country that was God honoring and now is rapidly changing and becoming NOT what our founding fathers envisioned it to be..
"God please help us all to realize you are in control and help us to honor you in all we do each day.. Amen"

photohause,
Is that BG Terry Wolff in the Hawian Shirt?? It looks like him, but the hair is parted on the wrong side... anyway BG Wolff is the best commander I've ever served with in my 25+ year career...
Thanks Veterans for all you did before I came along!
Best Regards,
Ron

Jody,
Thanks for starting this thread. All the above comments, prayers and dialog are very much appreciated in regards to our servicemen and women and all the ultimate sacrifices that have been made. We could not even have this forum to discuss our DW passion if it were not for these brave individuals, let alone a life of freedom. It is so discouraging at the same time watching our leaders and a blind population willingly letting us head back towards a captivity that the individuals we are memorializing died to get us and keep us out of! We must seek repentance.

SMF... 100% Ditto..
one answer...briefly... start now talking to those you know that were on the fence last election and perhaps voted for the current crew... perhaps we can tip the scales a little in the House of Rep. and the Senate and keep some of this insanity from running so rampant in DC..
