My thanks to all of those who served and are serving.

My special thanks to those who never came home and their families.

I guess we sometimes forget what the MEMORIAL part of Memorial Day is.

I have no proof of this, but today I encountered the statistic that America's Armed Forces number at less than 1% of the population of the US (and shrinking rapidly).

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

My Memorial Day 2013 in Crete, NE.  Both Grandparents were in the Army Air Corps and met in Albequerque, NM.
