Just wanted to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my family to yours. It has been my pleasure to become a member of this forum this year. I would like to thank everyone for their help and suggestions today, in the past and the future. It is great to be part of something that is celebrating and improving part of history. I only hope that the new products coming to market will provide  and inspire future generations to remember and honor the past and look to the future.

Adam42, it's great to have you here this year & that goes for the rest of our awesome members too!DWF Sign

I remember thinking about this same time last year, when the site was much smaller, what it would look like in another year? I wondered (& sometimes warned of the possible impending doom, witnessed first-hand on other forums)...that with the new members of 2010 coming in, would we have a bunch of riff-raff that thought this place was like most others out there...a place to troll & start conflicts?Frown I'm very pleased to say that none of that worry came about & that if anything, this place has cemented an even firmer foundation of what a quality gun forum should look like & be.

Thanks a ton to everyone here for your brotherhood, friendship & camaraderie...and long live theDWF Sign !!

And absolutely, Merry Christmas & may you all have a Happy New Year!Cool

Adam 42,

Thanks for starting the thread and your kind words for our forum.  As Chargerfan mentioned I wondered also what the next year holds each time one of these New Years rolls around and we have managed to maintain a membership of some of the most self governing oustanding individuals to have come together in a Forum.  The fact that we all have some degree of fascination with Dan Wesson Firearms is just a common interest, really.  To have 1595 members at this writing and be able to read each post knowing that it can be read by anybody and enjoyed is quite an accomplishment.  I wonder if Daniel Wesson would have ever thought that he would have created a following of such a class of individuals as he has?

I have strayed, sorry,  A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all as well!

Merry Christmas Guys!

Thanks to everyone making DWF the site it is.  This is certainly a group effort!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our servicemen and women for the sacrifices they make so that we can enjoy things as simple at the DWF!

Gentlemen,

I'm very proud to be  a member of the DWF... this really is a family for me--I'm here every day (sometimes most of the day).  I've made a few good friends, exchanged a lot of info both personal and DW related, and every day is an enjoyable experience.

I enjoy a Forum with no trash talk, no issues, no idiots... you get the idea...  This truly is a family here and I'm grateful to be part of it.

I as well enjoyed watching the DWF grow over the last year--I remember the excitement of member 1,000 joining Big Grin...

Jody will correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the DWF anniversary is Jan 22 -- I'll be here !

Happy holidays to all !!!

Mery Christmas to my DW brothers for Afghanistan.  Be safe and watch for the other guy while traveling.

All my Best,

Ron
