Just wanted to extend Christmas greetings to everyone. Some time ago, when I introduced myself to the Forum, I posted about having my 744 revolver modified to allow the installation of a scope mount for a Trijicon sight. A few of you asked for photos.
Well, I dropped it off at my machinist friend's shop in the summer and have been regularly going back to check on it. He hasn't had time to get to it because he makes parts under contract Colt, Dan Wesson, Les Baer and others and has been absolutely swamped. His order from Colt alone was for the manufacture of 18,000 safeties and hammers for 1911's. Every time I go in there, he has new and bigger CNC machines.
Anyway, he promised to get to it soon and I want to post some photos of it when I get it back. So hopefeully, I'll get it back soon and be able to post up some pics. I'm looking forward to using this pistol again for handgun hunting and I think the Trijicon sight would be perfect.
