I went to the gun show at the Minneapolis Convention Center today ($5 admission, and $9 to park). There were a lot of great people there, but what a major disappointment! There were no Dan Wessons, no Ed Browns, no Les Baers, no Wilson Combats, no Nighthawks to see or purchase, or factory reps to talk to. Just the usual few dealers were here with the same old weapons (one of the larger dealers has told me at the last 3 shows that he is selling his inventory and going out of business); and then there is all the other crap that no one is really interested in. There were also no holster makers or major accessory manufacturers represented there, and no shooting clubs or gun ranges.
You would think that a metro area like Minneapolis/St. Paul could support a decent gun show. The last show at the St. Paul Fairgrounds was just as bad.
I can't believe that this part of the Country is ignored by the manufacturers and marketers. Are the gun shows this bad in other metro areas?

Sorry to hear that man, We love guns and all the goodies that go with them
here in OH.
Alot of the small town shows have some so so stuff and high prices
but the larger ones near your Metro areas are really the best to be had.
If you want you can come on over here, right now our housing market
is in the dump. You wouldn't believe what a 100k will get you on a house !
