I was looking at a revolver I had just purchased a few months ago. It is a Smith Wesson 625 45 ACP.
It is a shame Dan Wesson does not jump on the band wagon of only the few manufacturers that offer popular semi-auto calibers in revolvers. Change the bore holes and shorten the cylinder a little, take advantage of the screw in barrel, and there you go. A 625 basically has a barrel which extends thru the frame to shorten the jump between the cylinder and barrel. Which is what we Dan owners have been doing for years. There are only a few good quality guns available from other manufacturers and Dan Wesson’s would jump to the top I am sure.
