GENTLEMEN I'M GOING THRU IT WITH THE USPS OVER AN INSURANCE CLAIM I INITIATED AFTER THEY DELIVERED A PACKAGE WITH THE CONTENTS MISSING.....THAT BEING A 10" BLUED VH BARREL ASSY. FOR A 44 MAG. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION......THEY WANT PROOF OF VALUE AT THE TIME OF THE MAILING.....THEY WON'T ACCEPT THE PHOTO/PRICE FROM THE CZ-USA WEBSITE, I TRIED THAT....THEN I SENT THEM A COPY OF THE BILL OF SALE I RECEIVED WHEN I PICKED UP THE DW PACKAGE FROM AN ESTATE SALE, THEY DENIED MY APPEAL WITH THAT.....I GUESS WHAT I NEED AND I'M LOOKING FOR IS SOMEONE WITHIN THIS GROUP WHO IS A REPUTABLE DEALER THAT CAN PRVIDE ME A STATEMENT OF VALUE AS PER THEIR POLICY.....SEE ATTACHED, THANKS IN ADVANCE....FRUSTRATED IN PA. For claims submitted online, the evidence may be scanned and uploaded or sent via First-Class Mail to Domestic Claims, Accounting Services (see 608.8.0). Other evidence may be requested to help determine an accurate value. Examples of acceptable evidence are:
a. Sales receipt, invoice or bill of sale, or statement of value from a reputable dealer

I'll take whatever I can get....I searched gunbroker completed auctions and only came up with one sold, it was a 445 supermag......I'm not sure I want to use it and take any chances of confusing them anymore......send any help to: fishrmen@epix.net Thanks again Dave

I think they will take anything on paper, I had a claim on a video game
system and luck to have it Wal-mart just put out a fly-er that week with
the same console. Just ripped the page out and filed it with my claim.
Whole process took about 45 days from start to check in my hands.
