Now that DWAS has slowed (read: I can't find the scarcest Monson revolvers), I've decided to look forward towards hunting season (since I'll be stateside for this one) and work on a lease. To work on a lease requires the correct tools and so here's my start:
I was looking at side by side UTVs and, like the new DW Revolvers, the price point was ridiculous. In my poking around I found a few sources for these Japanese mini 4x4 trucks, which were close by. For the price of a used ATV, I picked up this toy; a 96 Suzuki DD51T, 600cc 3 cylinder, 4x4 with Diff and Axle locks, 5 speed w/ EL (extra low). The best thing is the cab is lockable, there's heat inside (not really needed in LA), and I can lay up in bad weather. Total investment and work, so far, is just north of 5K.
By the way, I still need: 722M, 732, 732-20, 9-2, and 709.
Best Regards,
Ron

You can do whatever your imagination comes up with, I suppose.
The bed is just a bit more than 6'x4'.

Thanks Jody.
In Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan, they are affectionately known as "Bongo" trucks… I've wanted one for years and found this one in the Philippines- hence the left hand drive. Most are right hand drive and street legal in Canada.

LB- seems strange, I know, but it just so happened I had a little OD Green laying around... I almost painted a star on the side, but after all, it is Japanese.
CF- It's a 4 stroke. Oh- the neighbors thought I was fogging the neighborhood for mosquitoes as I ran a can of Seafoam through it...
I pulled the half shafts and am in the process of replacing CV boots and ball joint covers:

First and Foremost thank you for your service in support of this Great Nation.
If that is any thing like the OLD jeep it resembles, be careful on corners and slopes, the jeeps liked to fall over.
It is very kewl though. Should be a fun machine

Louis- It doesn't handle like the old Jeeps (151). I've actually been in long enough to have driven those in the early 80s...and you are welcome for the service- as I've often said- I'm glad to do it for folks like you who appreciate it. I replaced the ball joint and CV boots with not much of a problem. Put about 50 miles on it at camp.
