Our son went to the NRA Convention and had a terrific time, particularly President Trump's address. He visited the Dan Wesson/CZ area and talked for a while with the "guy" there (I'm guessing that would have been Keith). He got the very distinct impression that no new revolver models will be produced, and that any new production of 715's unlikely.
He also got a DW "give away"
Apparently, he failed to get one for me, the ungrateful little cur
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well, I trust what Andrew tells me he thought was hearing. I have said all along that the real revolver market that DW needs to be in is the Large Frame (.41/.44/Supermag). Much less direct competition than .357 Mag and a wide variety of calibers are applicable to the basic tooling.

This doesn't really surprise me. It's been about 6 years now that the "reintroduction" of the 715 was announced, and all we've really seen have been limited numbers of production guns, some blems, and a few 3-barrel packs. I figured it would fade out again, and with the recent pricing increase pushing the bare revolver (with a not so ergonomic Hogue grip) to $1,558, I think we're about ready to see the final demise of the revolver. I think their auto lineup can use a little help as well. I've been in the market for a "bells and whistles" .45 that isn't painted, and there isn't one in the lineup. All the features are available on different models, but not on one model. And I'm not talking anything extravagant either.
