Yep, another 'Chop found it's way here a couple days ago.
This one's a Model 15-1 .357 with a 6" barrel. The previous owner rubbed 90%
of the bluing off the rear sight & it's got some character marks,
but is in fine shape otherwise.
The Hogue feels great as usual, but it doesn't look right on a 'Chop IMO…now it's wearing a cool wood grip from Shoot's stash. (I've decided my camera may be dying…the pics are all pixelated )
An attempt at being artsy-schmartsy…too bad the pic quality has gone to crap.
I took it to my "range" today & fed it some of my reloads…it wasn't too happy about that. Apparently most of those rounds had some high pressure issues. Woops.
And a big thanks to Steve, for being the go-between & passing on my e-mail address!

Yeah Steve, this was one of those transactions that was just doomed to be slow from the start. The seller said his work schedule was pretty funky & that once he received payment, it would probably be a few days before he was back home & could ship. So that took some extra time, then it landed at my FFL's place the same day he & the family left home for an out of state funeral.
It's ok though, I'm a patient guy. This deal wasn't as bad as my M40 transaction...that payment got lost in transit, had to do major jump-through-flaming-hoop stuff on that one!
Jaggman, you guessed it...at least 50% of those reloads got stuck in the cylinder. Had to use a stick for extraction. I should have listened to my little voice & brought my Security Six or one of the FB's along, they have smoother cylinder chambers & may have not stuck so easily. Porkchop chambers are more rough inside...at least all mine are.
