Maybe it's being an NRA member. Maybe it's that I tried to do some research to see if it has true benefits. But, I am seeing alot of advertising about Gun Trusts. If I understand it correctly, it gives me protection of possession/ownership if I become incapacitated, if the law comes for my guns, if I die and don't have specific instructions for each the guns in my will...... Any gun or suppressor that requires a federal tax stamp can be lawfully in possession of those persons listed in the trust? Does it matter what state? (Texas) Still haven't figured out if it's a "blanket/umbrella" document since I add (and sometimes subtract) guns every year.
There's a lot's of information out there....(most of it advertised by lawyers), not sure what the true facts and benefits are?
Anyone have a Gun Trust?
Thoughts and opinions are welcome here.

Look at living revokable trust instead of a "gun trust" to include all property. Several of my family members are part of the family trust so we can be in possession of each other's NFA items (and soon to be NFA items). Also, as you stated, if I were to meet an untimely death, those items (including property) would not need to be destroyed or go into probate for a court to decide their fate. Everyone in the trust "owns" them already.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
