I've had a pair that is 40 years old or so. They seem great. Other than the common sense approach to clean them with maybe soapy water, any other tips and/or solvents to use or satay away from?
I emailed Pachmayer and they have not replies.
Thanks - Cheers

I keep the rubber clean and supple with a gentle scrub with 1/10 soapy water and toothbrush. Sweat and oils have turned others light grey over time. As for the brass medallions a Q-tip and a drop of Flitz and lightly scrub face until happy with the emerging shine. I leave deep shadowing to show off the lions or the beautiful DW logos.
