Well most of you know I have a 41 on layaway at my local gun shop. Well i called today about scope mounts for my sons savage that im picking up tomorrow. Well my friend that works there informs me they have a 357 pistol pac for $595! Has the patch, buckle, 2,4,6,8 barrels wrenches and 2 sets of grips. No extra sight ramps. Did all the pacs have extra sight ramps? The problem is I all ready have a 6 inch 357, and with payday another week away Ill have to trade one of my other guns to put this one on layaway. Should I trade my existing DW in towards the Pac? Or should I keep all and dig out something else to use towards the Pac? Just not sure I need 2 357. OHHH who am I kidding yes I do. What you guys think?

Ummm $595
you could very easily flip that on GB for $800 to $1200
Or part out everthing except some BA you might want.
or maybe son needs a .357 as nice as dads!
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.

If the only thing wrong with a $595 Pack is missing front sights, I'd say pass on it AND LET ME KNOW HOW TO GET IT!
If you gotta sell something, that's a choice you need to make, but I'd be finding a way to make this happen.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well I went to look at the pac today. Very nice, has 2 4 6 8 barrels 2 sets of grips, but no buckle or patch. He said he was sorry ge thought it came with it. Also no sights. I ran the gun through the full lockup tests. The cylinder has a small amount of front to back play. It makes a little click sound when you move it back and forth in full lockup. The gun looks in great shape, but I think it has a lot of rounds put through it. Now what do yall think? Is it still worth it?

Make sure when you are checking end shake(front to back play) that you are not
pushing against the cylinder alignment ball, this will give a false reading. Patch, buckle
and sights can easily be aquired.
