Hello everyone,
Newbie to this group. I have an opportunity to pick up a pistol pac with 5 barrels (extra 4"). It is missing the belt buckle, patch, combat grip, case keys and extra front sight inserts. I assume that these are the accessories that originally came with the pac. Couple of questions:
There are several keys marked #71 for sale...are the cases all keyed the same?
How much value is lost in the pac without these items?
Lastly, if it were you and knowing the above, would you trade a Lew Horton Ruger Redhawk .44 mag + S&W M&P 9mm and a PSA AR15 M4 Freedom rifle for the pac? I value those guns at about $1575.00

I would not make the suggested trade!
All of the same style cases are all keyed the same.
It's difficult to estimate value without photos or more description of the gun. Based only on your description I would say around $1,100.
The missing items will cost upwards of $250 to acquire separately, maybe more as time goes by. On the other hand the extra barrel assembly is a plus. Everything depends on condition and also whether the case has the original factory tag that matches the gun serial number. Many pacs being sold are assembled by owners, not factory issue.

Thanks for the reply...where would I find the tag / serial number for the case?
Picture below of the pistol pac...the fact that it has an extra 4" barrel makes me believe that it was perhaps pieced together

The factory tag is usually glued to the metal band on the side of the case. I did have a pac with the tag attached to the inside of the case under the foam, but I am betting that it was removed from the outside and placed on the inside to preserve it.

New to the site and new to me Dan Wesson model 22 owner.
I bought a Pistol Pac Case from Ebay -- no key -- saw the key options on Ebay -- a bit pricey and can not guarantee to work. I went thru my stash of old keys ( have trouble throwing stuff away) found to shotgun case key - I traded away, they both fit and lock and unlock the case -- cases I bought years ago at Academy.
Always worth a look and try !!!!

Thanks for that FYI. I have a case that needs a key too. If you have any extra let me know? Mine is the brown case with the .357 DW revolver pak. Gary J
