Since they're very difficult to find and very expensive when you do find them, I would love to put together a pistol pac ll. One of the big problems is finding a blue case that matches the original. Does anyone know where I could buy one that's pretty close to the original blue codura case?

Thanks

Jim

I have an idea to think about.  Since the originals are pretty much non-existent and have all been "collected" by now, a case "pretty close to the original blue case" really wouldn't have much collector value to it and you can find a far better alternative with today's product offerings.  Personally, if I were starting from scratch, I'd go with something like the Pelican 1490 or a competitor case of similar dimension.  It will be a much better and durable case than the original "press'board" case . There are an abundance of competitor cases out there that produce a similar product for much less than the traditional "Pelican".  If you need help on a custom-cut foam, shoot me a PM and I'll help you out.

I have several different size Pelican cases for over 25 years...they are terrific. I have a large one which is our Bug-Out case which holds external backups, laptop, chargers, and other essentials incase a hurricane threatens us. They are pretty much indestructible, and replacement gaskets are easily available.

If you're going to drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
