Yep, it's hard to beat $100 for that haul.

Believe me, I'm going to be working on outdoing myself also
... I talked with a gentleman on the phone today who apparently was a dealer and very close to the DW firm in the early 80's. He said he is going to clean out his basement of any DW stuff and give me a call. Apparently when DW decided to discontinue stock, they called this guy(so the story goes...) we'll see.

I just seled the deal on two belt buckles from the same guy-- they will be in the mail tomorrow. We settled on $55 shipped for the two.

Just went to Cabelas in Hartford, CT. Casually went into the Gun Library to look for Colt Sauers, they had none. The guy attending the area came out of his office. I just happened to ask about the Colt Sauers, then the thought popped into my head, I said, "What about Dan Wesson revolvers" His reply, just got one in. Inside the brown case there on the velvet yellow covering was a 44Mag in blued, with 10 inch, 8 inch, 6 inch and 4 inch barrel with tool and feeler gage. Try to guess the price. I put a deposit on it, pending my permit to carry. I have 90 days to get it.
