Here is a similar Powerwood grip. Plastic made to look like wood.
The silver in the medallions are usually the first to go, and they are much smaller than later medallions...mine is no exception. If you find a set of Powerwoods that still have the unblemished silver medallions, get them!

Darrell, you can see the tree rings inside your grip! Powerwood can't be refinished. Second worse idea Dan Wesson ever had except for the power ports.
I do see the rings and have never had a power wood in my hand to evaluate...........a seller on E-B is advertising it as power wood and I didnt think it was.
