Update to my order...I originally received a conformation receipt as shown above with an approval date of 4/24 & had sent two emails that went unanswered. I sent a third email asking my orders status recently. I received another confirmation receipt with an approval date of the day I sent them the third email. Fedex delivered the barrel yesterday. Looks like things are back to normal.

Not quite. Last two orders I got they were incomplete, The first was April I ordered the barrel a 3 extra pistol bags they said they were in stock I never got the bags and not they are out of stock. Next I ordered this last barrel and ordered several cases they were on closeout and ertr in stock when I made my order and never received them ether. I was not charged for the items so I guess that was something.

I had to cancel my order from 4/5/24 on 5/28/24. One of the items was no longer in stock. I went online 5/31/24 and the web store said it was back in stock so I created a new order. As of today, 6/4/24, the order is stuck in staging, just like my previous order. Frustrating!

Is it just me or is their website absolute garbage as well? Most of the images don't load and pages constantly time out...
I just checked the SSL certificate and it's Starfield Technologies. They are some bullshit branch of GoDaddy. Whom ever they hired to do their website isn't doing a great job.

I too am having issues with the webstore ordering. The site crashes. Live Chat does not function. Wait time on the phone is over 60 minutes. All you guys quit calling!

Thought you guys might be interested I ordered a CZ 6VH barrel about a week and a half ago and it arrived today. Very pleasantly surprised although I haven't looked inside yet. EDIT: After looking back at my email for dates, I got order confirmation immediately on July 10th and delivery, FEDEX on the 16th!

I'm gonna break down and try to order an SS 4" VH barrel and see what happens. I have the money right now, and in the past I usually didn't when they were easy to get and sanely priced. I wish I wish I wish I had kept those barrels and shrouds that I got from a going out of business LGS about 2010. I sold them, thinking prices couldn't keep going up. Wrong. They were all blued, and I needed an SS one, which I scored on Ebay for $62. The seller thought the rifling was damaged so he priced it cheap. A Lewis Lead Remover proved all was well in that barrel assembly. It's a half lug and I don't really like the looks of it.
Edited: It looks like it went through, I managed, after a bunch of weird stuff happening on the site, to order a 4" SS VH barrel assembly. It refused to take the security code until I manually entered all the other card info, but it seems to have worked out OK.

A heartbeat at CZ! first, Genny is back! She was gone for 2 weeks and said she has no idea if and when they will restock 10 inch barrels. THen I got a email from CZ about my order. Only thing is they only are shipping part of it I do not know what happened to the rest of my order!
Speaking to Genny last week, she says there are very little parts left on-site. She would not elaborate further. My last barrel order came out of St. Louis

Glad this thread gave me a heads up that CZ as a source may be drying up soon. I received an extra 4VH blued barrel a month ago.

I just yesterday got my new 8" BVH shroud, 2 rear sight pins, one cylinder latch spring, ordered over the phone w/Gen. There was definitely the feeling that I just happened to need what they had.

I got my barrel assembly at noon on Wed. Not bad, but wow, getting the site to take my CC and new phone number since the last time I ordered anything was a major hassle. I didn't like being woke up when it came though. Looks very nice!

Well here it is! I messaged Genny today and asked about more 10VH 357 mag barrels and the reply is we have none in stock and I do not think there will be anymore being made! The barrel train had run its last trip! Once barrels are out of stock it sounds like CZ is out of the Dan Wesson revolver business!

You guys should have been seeing this coming for awhile now. We are witnessing the end of an Era. They will focus on Colt snake guns now.

Agreed, but it sucks nonetheless! I own only 1 Colt, a 1976 Python. Very nice pistol, but I cannot change barrel lengths myself. No replacement for a Dan! I need to fire up my Time Machine! LOL

Re Pythons with multiple barrels. Different barrels on most revolvers than when they left the factory is a serious knock on value. Even if the factory replaces the barrel the gun is devalued in collectors eyes. Except Dan Wessons (and Janz and some Manurhins). Some revolvers are worth so much, such as a Registered Magnum, that a replacement barrel done at the factory will not cause a great deal of depreciation. Stay away from all Pythons being offered with extra barrels. They are not interchangable by the user.

I ordered a couple .22 barrels four days ago. Tracking says they will arrive tomorrow. I only owned a 6 inch that came with the gun. I was never in a rush for others but I figured this was easier than hunting them down in the future.
