A $500.00 pork chop with a 6" barrel, wondering how easy or hard it is to find different lengths, and is it worth 500.00 to start with.

Were there any pistol packs made with this model ?pork-chop.jpgImage Enlarger

No, it's not too difficult to find porkchop BA's .. $500 is near the top end of the value scale, so if condition is excellent, then it's worth it .. Yes, they made porky' in Pistol Packs too.

I saw one today in a store in Houston. It lloked like the barrel nut was on backwards. Are the barrel nuts on a pork chop significantly diffrent from a 15-2?

Some porkchops were made into fixed barrel guns. The barrel nut has no slots and is torqued on. They were required by many police departments. Most would be chambered to accept only 38 special. Unless someone screwed on a nut backwards. Very hard to take of. Lol. Be careful when putting the nut on a Dan to have the slots on the outside.

Early Porkchops were designed with an external barrel nut that did not fit flush inside the shroud.

Further rsearch rsults that this is a Dan Wesson D-11 .38 Special. It’s very good. They want $400. I have included the URL and will cross post on another section of this forum.
