I have been trying to adjust the screws on my 1911 RZ-10 Razorback 10mm and DWX Compact 9mm after taking them to the range yesterday. I thought I had the correct Torx bit but I think that I may have stripped them some, doh! I was able to get them removed with a 1/16 hex wrench (after some research), but I would like to get some backups to start fresh for when I go to torque them down after adjusting, because I don't want to strip them anymore than they have been damaged. I have a few questions...
1. Torque spec on these rear sight screws (I was thinking about 12 in/lb)? Is one different than the other (9mm vs 10mm)?
2. Where can I get replacement screws? Dan Wesson has ignored this request in the past when one came loose and lost at the range. They did add one when I sent it in for an issue with the safety, but the sights are off now.
Thanks in advance!
