SHOOT’s labels:
I tried to replicate the labels SHOOT created in 2014. Recently, I’ve seen it posted the label file SHOOT created has since been lost. So, this was my first attempt to re-create them. All I had to go on was a pic of SHOOT’s labels he posted in his thread here (pic of his above for your convenience):
How do mine look? See any issues? There has to be a lot of other calibers missing from the list, what labels are missing? Do you have a pic of one that’s missing so I can replicate it?
I should add, I’m not looking to trick or deceive anyone into believing any of my pacs that are missing the original labels are “authentic”, I’m just interested in making my pacs have the correct aesthetics. Kinda like restoring an old muscle car to its exact original condition.

They look good to my eyes.
I know they made pacs in blue and stainless, in 22, 22 mag, 32 H&R mag. 38, 357, and I suppose 32-20. I think the 38 and 32-20 pacs were few and far between, but I'd imagine there are a few out there.

Can you make any of them on different colored paper? I need several of them for original boxes! If not I would still like to get some from you. I'm in need of two 445 labels, a 45 Cold label, a 41 mag label, and a 22 label. Here are my original large frame ones .
If I can find labels in those colors, I think I could replicate them. I have several styrofoam DW boxes with the blue hue too. I don’t have any that are yellow so I’m glad you included the pics. I’ll run to a local office supply store this weekend and see what’s available. Hopefully they offer labels in those colors.

Those labels look like a standard Avery 3 up mailing label. I don't think DW went to a lot of expense to print these, they look like somebody ran them off generically on the office printer and wrote on the serial number with a Sharpie. It must have been only one person who did that for years because every one I've ever seen is in the same hand writing.

I've got an orange one around here somewhere to go with that pinkish one.
I think they used what they could find, I don't know if there was any master plan like color for caliber.

Wow that’s a LOT of different colors!
I wonder if the color has any special meaning? Did they dedicate a color to a caliber or frame size or maybe blued vs stainless model? Or maybe each manufacturing location (Monson vs Palmer vs Norwich) used different colors? Or did they simply use whatever label color was handy at the time?

Model 8 SS
Thanks Scout! Just to verify, the Model 8-2 is a blued .38 and the 708 is the stainless version .38 and the 738P is the .38 +P (‘lil Dan), correct?
Yes, I wonder how rare the 38S are? I never see them for sale. I am sure many are out there. I haven't seen any other than mine.

Interesting thread!
My .44V8 came in the Styrofoam box with a blue label and black lettering.
The .357 I bought used without a box. I sent it to the factory for rebuild and they returned in in a Styrofoam box with no label, only sharpie writing.
I don't remember what kind of box the .22VH4 came in. The gun was in a soft plastic "rug". The original box is hiding.
Just for grins I'd like a label for the 15-2V6 box.
Edit: the factory accessories (grips, BAs, etc.) I have came in boxes with stick on labels.

I wonder if CZ is willing to sell those styrofoam boxes (with a sleeve?) stand-alone? I assume the have the DW logo on theem?
No problem, I’ll make a 15-2V6 label for you.
