OK. I'm late to this post.. so here's my 2 cents .... I like the idea of a custom revolver.
I don't care about a custom shroud.. but maybe.
As far as the custom wheel gun is concerned I can do reload, an all set up for it .. but a chicken .. so I like to stay with what's readily available in the ammo market supply wise.. looking for custom brass.. or making my own cut down, necked down ground down stuff is not my idea of fun, sorry.
I would like to see some caliber that is not that common and yet is readily available..
so my suggestion is for a.
.22 Hornet pistol pack in stainless.. or AGS finish..with a complete set of barrels.. including a 12" one.
I just ordered a .22 Magnum cylinder for a .22 LR gun. I asked Keith last night about doing a .22 hornet cylinder.. he said he would have to start with a super mag frame. and do a lot of work and so he said not at this time .
I'm not so sure.. I think a plain vanilla .44 mag frame would work.. the .44 mag cyl would work with that round, ( i measured it), a barrel and shroud for that .22 would be way cool in that big frame..
Any way that's what I would order if I had the chance.
If that is not acceptable to everyone.. then perhaps some other caliber.. but that big wildcatting stuff is not my cup of tea.. I would hate to be paying 3 bucks a round for a one of a kind gun..
.22 Hornet hand guns are not that prevalent and they command a good buck.
It's simple, ammo is available and yet it's unique.
Think about it.

Hey Wayne:
I didn't mean wildcat stuff. What I meant was I think DW should put the .327 Federal Mag, the .327 SuperMag and the .505 SM and the .610 SM in production. Then make a regular magnum for the 2 big ones on the .44 frame by shortening the cases to 1.29 and finally a special in each group with a case length of 1.16. The result would be:
.327 Special, .327 Mag, .327 SM
.505 Special, .505 Mag, .505 SM
.610 Special, .610 Mag, .610 SM
The .327 would be good for anything up to deer.
The .505 would take anything on this continent.
And the .610 would take anything that ever has been on the planet ( maybe even T-Rex ).
DW would have to produce ammo also for those of us who don't reload.
Ah yes, Utopia. Oh well, time to get back to reality.

Hey Zoommb, If I remember you have a FA 500WE? Did you ever read the article about them in the American Rifleman about a year ago? The writer suggested there that the cartridge was well suited for dinosaur in the article. Thought that fits with the above discussion .

When my son was about 4 years old, he asked if there were still dinosaurs when I was younger. I told him that we had to dodge them on the highway all the time. He found that so exciting, I had to break down and tell the truth right away.

Two funny!! Great tale, thanks for sharing it!
I like the Idea of a new caliber fo the DW but would never put my buck on something I could'nt enjoy shooting so the big bang would be out for me, still like the thought of dan wesson forum specific shrouds or limited production matte finish on [ex. 357,375 445 super mag in unfluted cyl.] with slotted vented shrouds and the forum logo and maybe member sellect s.n.
