That's pretty cool. I think there may be a dozen or so of our members here, each with a sizeable enough collection, that we could at least put together a good looking display at a gun show somwehere.

The main problem will be to get those members together in one spot.Wink And an airplane trip would probably be out of the question, considering the sort of luggage contents involved.lol2 Hey!...maybe IHMSA could just fly around & pick us all up.Laugh

I hear a lot of talk about the tulsa show, neaver been but the turn out seems to be Jaw Dropping from what the uger  people say. lots of displays and sales. I don't have any idea of table costs or display payments, we could always look into starting our own centrally located show that has a good turnout and reputation. We know not everyone can be there but I would be willing to support with any of the guns I have to help fill the display if needed. I'm sure we could work this out. Let's work this out, time ,place, display, whom, expeince, etc.occasion

How about an annual or biennial convention; somewhere with a range.  We could have scheduled speakers, shooting competitions and just plain socializing.

The NHS does this every two years and the convention venues have been all over the world.  Of course, I realize that for many reasons we would be confined to the US, but that should make it more affordable.

Just a thought.

So…

Dean's going to provide the piloting service and the range???

I don't think so.  He won't even let us know where he lives, but his range sure is nice.
